Great to know how my old school is doing – pupil there from 1962-9, and my brother was there 1965-71. I am sure it has changed a great deal since then!! Sadly I Have no photos from my time apart from the obligatory annual school (individual) photo.
There is now a Facebook group for the more mature ex-pupils of the school – pre 1972 – if anyone is interested. To share our memories etc of our school days.

Was a pupil at Stag Lane 1962-69. Memories of Mr Moxon, Mrs Simmons, Miss Clark, Mr Metcalfe, Miss Underwood etc. No pictures, apart from the annual school photographs. Any “old” pupils or groups on any social network out there?

I was privileged to attend this magnificent school. I left in 2010 as a head boy and was devastated. Stag lane will always be in my heart. I haven’t had the chance to go back and meet my fantastic teachers, Mrs Kercher and Miss Brady(Mrs Porter), however I hope to visit soon.

    Hello
I’m an old pupil of the school & wondered if there is an alumni or any network of ex pupils from the school? I attended the school at infant & junior level in the 1950’s so quite a while ago but have the fondest memories of the school, the teachers the playground & playing for the school football team! I still have photo’s of me and the school and your website pictures of the buildings etc look just the same!Joe Marshall

Just been reading a few comments from the old guestbook. I was at Stag Lane for six years from 1967. Too long ago to remember much about it, but I do remember Mrs White, who taught me – iirc – in what is now year 4, my first year in the senior half of the school.
